Dr. Wright completed additional training through Ohio State and Duke Universities, and offers gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, Lap-band, single-anastamosis loop duodenal switch, gastric balloon, and revisional surgery. He provides aftercare (and revisional surgery when necessary) for patients who had bariatric procedures performed at other facilities, including all True Results patients. He also performs a broad range of general surgery, including hiatal hernia repairs and the Linx procedure for reflux disease.

He was the Chief of Surgery and Anesthesiology at the Nix Medical center from 2006-2016, and President of the medical staff 2016-2019. His patients describe him as a highly skilled surgeon who pays great attention to detail and has a warm, sensitive bedside manner.
