As you are all aware, to protect the safety and welfare of our patients, staff, and physicians during the COVID-19 pandemic we significantly restricted access to our facility. This included restrictions on patient visitation. Except in some unique circumstance we have not been allowing visitors within our hospital.
Effective Wednesday, August 12, 2020 we will allow each patient to have one (1) designated visitor. The visitors will always be required to comply with our screening process and protocols and to wear a face covering. We will also enforce social distancing guidelines and may have some limits on overall visitor capacity. All other access restrictions will remain in place.
Knowing how important it is to have a family member or friend by your side during a medical event, we are very pleased that we are once again able to enhance our services to those serve by welcoming their family and friends to our hospital.
I extend my gratitude to you and your office staff who have worked tirelessly with us as we persevered through each and every challenge. Each step, however small, toward normalcy is a most welcome one.
Please fell free to contact me with any questions.
