Foundation Surgical Hospital Visiting Guidelines
At Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio, we encourage visitors as an important part of making your stay as comfortable as possible. Typically, once the patient is resting comfortably in a patient guest room, visitors are welcome. Visiting hours are generally from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and are limited when patients are receiving special services.
Should you prefer not to have visitors, we will respect those wishes. We encourage you to let your visitors know when you would like to see them and when you prefer to rest.
Visitors with infectious diseases, particularly upper respiratory infections, should not visit post-operative patients. If your visitor does have symptoms of an infection, please consult the nurse for advice regarding visitation.
For the security of our patients and staff, the hospital’s main entrance is locked after 9 p.m. daily and all weekend. Staff members can assist family members and visitors who wish to visit you after hours during your stay.
