Stimulator Implant Procedure
Foundation Surgical Hospital offers the Stimulator Implant procedure for patients with chronic pain. This procedure is typically used after other methods of treatment, such as medication and physical therapy, have failed. With this procedure, the patient may experience relief by the use of electrodes that stimulate the area of pain and interrupt the pain signal. The stimulator implant may also be implanted on a trial basis to see if it is a treatment option the patient will want to continue.
