David Mullins, MD, General Surgeon
Dr. David Mullins earned a Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Texas in 1984 followed by his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 1988. He completed both his internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas.
Dr. Mullins is certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is on the medical staff of Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio and serves on the hospital’s governing board, Dr. Mullins has also served on the medical staff of Santa Rosa Medical Center, Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital, Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital and St. Luke's Baptist Hospital - all of San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Mullins is professionally affiliated with the Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, San Antonio Surgical Society, Parkland Surgical Society and Texas Surgical Society.
