| Arthur Rosenthal, MD, General Surgery
Dr. Arthur Rosenthal is a Philadelphia native and moved to Texas in 1975. He has nearly 40 years of General Surgery experience. He earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University in 1964, followed by a Masters degree in Physics from University of Pennsylvania in 1965 and his Doctorate in Medicine from Hahnemann Medical College in 1969. Dr. Rosenthal completed both an internship and residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania where he also served as Chief Resident of General Surgery (1973-74).
He is currently the Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Texas at San Antonio Health Science Center. Dr. Rosenthal is on the medical staff of Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio and has served on the medical staff as an active staff surgeon at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital and St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital both in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Rosenthal is certified by the American Board of General Surgery. He also has a MammoSite RTS certification.
Dr. Rosenthal is professionally affiliated with the Bexar County Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Burn Association, American Society of Breast Surgeons, and American Society of Breast Disease.
